I wish i can paint eyes like that . I did an experiment. I looked from an angle from the left side of my monitor slid across to my rght, and back and forth. she stares back at me no matter where I am. I love the real-feel and the eyes . that expression on her face feels like a strong, soul piercing look like a look you'de get from someone you just offended in some way and she looks back at you in a way that you know she isn't messing around
btw it reminds me of a gov' project to draw portrait of a president for a report. one girl's drawing was in pencil, the eyes were heavily penciled and big and shiny. everyone liked how it seemed to watch over the class as it was taped on the classroom wall.
everyone try looking at it from different angles it follows you.
negatcment - the right side has too much going on with the blur. kinda detistracted me from watching her eye folow me around, 'cause it seems like it is in front of her and not a background behind her.
overalll- love expression love eyes love the attention given to the face and no intentional distractions to take attecntion off face. could have gone without the right-side blur. looks like you took the time on the face then just swamped the right side with some 5 minute blur. Kna-whu-I-mean?

excellent work..i think giving life to portraits and showing deep emotions is one of the hardest things..and u're one of the best few artists i've seen that really do it right..
i can stare at the eyes for a while and feel i'm actually looking at someone in front of me...and that's why u're one of my very favorite artists..keep it up..love your style

Very nice and I mean very nice. The crit I have is the background looks too artificial for such a realistic render. As far as an offering of advice, I would have made the picture longer vertically and added folded hands coming through the light or something of that nature. Rembrandt is a good role-model for ya.

The eyes are just so mesmerizing, and without noticing I sat there staring into them for like 15 minutes x_x; amazing work, the second of your images to go to my favorites.

Beautiful work! It looks like there is an influence of classical realism painting techniques. The softness of the skin tones and their subtle values, very reminiscent of classical paintings. Very nice!
